Terms of Service

1Who may use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, and a parent or guardian may hold and manage an account on behalf of a younger skater. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you give us is accurate.

2Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

3Membership, billing, and cancellation

• Some features require a paid membership. Current pricing is shown on the membership page and is charged as a recurring subscription, billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose.
• Automatic renewal. Paid memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, using your payment method on file, until you cancel. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge that method for each renewal.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from the membership page. Cancellation stops future renewals; your membership stays active through the end of the period you already paid for, and your saved plans remain yours.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and partial billing periods are not refunded or prorated. We may change prices or plan features on a going-forward basis; if we do, we will give notice before the change takes effect for you.
• Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy.

4Your content and the license you grant

You keep ownership of the practice plans and other content you create on the Service (“Your Content”). You are solely responsible for Your Content and for having the rights needed to post it.

To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute Your Content, and to make it available to others, but only as needed to run and improve the Service and only consistent with the visibility setting you choose for each plan. This license lasts as long as Your Content is on the Service, and it survives to the extent others have already copied a plan you shared (see below). It ends for future distribution when you delete the content or your account.

You represent and warrant that Your Content is yours to share, that it does not infringe or violate anyone’s rights, and that it does not contain anything unlawful or, to the best of your knowledge, unsafe. When you share a plan publicly or by link, you also grant other users a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to view, copy, rescale, and adapt it through the Service for their own use.

5Sharing, visibility, and shared links

• Each plan has a visibility setting. Private plans are visible only to you. Unlisted plans are reachable by anyone who has the link. Public plans may appear in the community catalog and be found by anyone.
• When you mark a plan public or unlisted, you are choosing to make it available to other people, including visitors who do not have an account. Do not publish anything you are not comfortable making broadly accessible.
• Shared links are durable. A link to a public or unlisted plan is designed to keep working for the people you shared it with. If you later change a plan’s visibility or delete it, copies that others already made remain theirs, and we cannot recall content that has already been viewed or copied.
• The Service lets members copy and adapt plans that others have made publicly available. By publishing a plan publicly, you permit other users to copy, rescale, and adapt it for their own use through the Service’s features.

6Content shared by other users

Much of what you can find on the Service is created and shared by other users, not by us. We act as a host for that content. We do not create, endorse, verify, or vet the plans that other users share, and we are not responsible for them. Any goals, drills, recommendations, or training approaches in a user-shared plan are the poster’s, not ours.

You use plans shared by other users at your own risk, and you are responsible for deciding whether any such plan is accurate, safe, lawful, and appropriate for you or anyone in your care before using it. This is in addition to the health and safety terms below.

If you find a plan or other content that infringes your rights, is unsafe, or violates these Terms, please report it to support@ijsedge.com so we can review it. We may, but are not required to, monitor, remove, or restrict user content, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for content that other users create, share, or copy.

7Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• post content you do not have the right to post, or that infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
• post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, or harmful to minors;
• impersonate others, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization;
• probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service, its security, or other users, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it; or
• use the Service to break any applicable law.

We may remove content or limit access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, though we are not obligated to monitor content.

8Copyright and takedown

We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@ijsedge.com that includes: a description of the work, the location (URL) of the material you say infringes it, your contact information, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them, and your physical or electronic signature.

We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), including by removing infringing material and, where appropriate, terminating repeat infringers. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address.

9Health, physical activity, and assumption of risk

Figure skating and physical training carry an inherent risk of serious injury or death. Practice Plans is a scheduling and organization tool only. It does not create coaching, training, medical, physical-therapy, or professional fitness relationships, and nothing on the Service is a substitute for the judgment of a qualified coach or medical professional.

Plans on the Service, including plans labeled official and plans shared by other users, are provided for general informational purposes. We do not verify that any plan is safe, accurate, or appropriate for you, your age, your skill level, or your health.

• Consult a physician before beginning any new training, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or distress.
• Skate and train within your ability, with appropriate supervision, equipment, and ice or facility conditions.
• You are responsible for deciding whether any plan or activity is suitable for you or for anyone in your care.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with using any plan or taking part in any activity you plan or discover through the Service, and you agree that IJS Edge is not responsible for any resulting injury, loss, or damage.

10No warranties

The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any plan or content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IJS Edge and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, or for any personal injury or property damage, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or any plan or activity, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent liability cannot be fully excluded, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

12Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IJS Edge from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including content licenses already granted to others, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will survive.

14Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, give additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your state], USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not otherwise resolved, except that either party may seek injunctive relief where appropriate.

16General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
